No Last Jedi
Didn't think the official Episode VIII "The Last Jedi" was worthy of the Star Wars Saga? Me neither! So we played our own game of Star Wars Saga RPG and re-wrote The Last Jedi. Back to the Future RPG: OUTATIME!
A Vorpal Chainsword 5e D&D ode to Back to the Future featuring all our favorite Time-Travelers from the 1980's (and a few from the 1990's) banding together to save the time-stream from being destroyed for all eternity by the moronic Tannen family and their nefarious time-jumping allies. Shadows Over Eternia: He-Man vs. the Cthulhu Mythos
A Vorpal Chainsword 'What-If' scenario set in the world of Eternia. After Skeletor unwittingly opens the doorway to Carcosa, the powerful beings of the Cthulhu Mythos invade the planet! Skeletor and his minions must now team up with He-man and his mighty friends to stop the King in Yellow (among other Mythos entities) from taking over all of Eternia! Pictures from Shadows Over Eternia games run at ScanCon 2014 and GameHoleCon 2014. |
Escape from Fireball Island
The adventure is a 1930's pulp AD&D game loosely based on the Fireball Island boardgame from 1983. Amelia Earhart is flying a group of famous figures from Miami to London, but as she crosses the Bermuda Triangle, she is forced to crash land on a mysterious volcanic island. Much dino-battling, lizardman-negotiating, trap-dodging, atlantean puzzle-solving, and jewel-gathering ensues! Tron RPG:
Hard Reboot A Vorpal Chainsword Tron RPG using an original ruleset! One player was the User rezzed into the computer, and the rest of the players played Programs determined to protect him! Players raced lightbikes, battled the Master Control Program, and hung out in the Progress Bar to Daft Punk music! Designed and props built to be run for gamers at ScanCon 2012! Chicago 2143:
Devil in the Wight City A Vorpal Chainsword Cyberpunk original game and mechanics! Utilizing a combination of tablet-based analog slot-and-chit gaming mechanisms along with online QR code puzzles, this RPG was designed by ScanCorp and BrightCo solely to be run for gamers at ScanCon 2013! Based on a mixture of Blade Runner, Johnny Mnemonic, and Transmetropolitan, this cyberpunk rpg found the heroes stuck between the mega-corporation ScanCorp and the anarcho-terrorist organization the Low-Teks! The players had to use both a physical puzzle pieces game mechanic alongside clues scattered about the internet (via printed QR codes on key props) to survive the Mystery of the Devil in the Wight City! |
